As the year ends, I’m reflecting on my journey with energy, the invisible force shaping our lives, relationships, and well-being. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been deeply attuned to these unseen dynamics, sensing shifts and patterns beneath the surface of everyday life.
For years, I used this intuitive understanding to guide others through challenges, uncovering hidden energy patterns. Yet, I struggled to articulate this gift, it was more of a sensing system than a framework. Everything changed when I discovered Human Design, a revolutionary system that gave me the tools and language to turn intuition into action. It was like discovering a personalized blueprint for life.

This revelation not only transformed my understanding of energy but also how I guide others to honor theirs. Let me share how Human Design illuminates energy dynamics and why it’s been a game-changer in my life as a Manifestor.
Discovering Human Design
Human Design is a powerful system that reveals how we are naturally wired to use our energy. By identifying our energy type, strengths, and tendencies, it offers a practical way to move through life with clarity and ease. Instead of working against ourselves, we can align with the natural flow of our design.
The system identifies five core energy types, each with its own rhythm and role. Do you recognize yourself in any of these?
1. Generators: The Builders (31% of the population)
• Key Trait: Fueled by passion and joy.
• Common Struggle: Frustration when stuck doing things they don’t love.
• “I feel frustrated when I’m stuck doing things I have to do instead of what excites me. Does this sound familiar?”
2. Manifesting Generators: The Multitaskers (37% of population )
• Key Trait: Fast-moving innovators with diverse passions.
• Common Struggle: Overcommitting and feeling scattered.
• “I have so many passions that I don’t know where to focus. Does that resonate?”
3. Projectors: The Guides (22% of the population)
• Key Trait: Masters of systems and clarity.
• Common Struggle: Exhaustion and the need for recognition.
• “I feel deeply tired and need more rest than others. Does this sound like you?”
4. Manifestors: The Initiators (9% of the population)
• Key Trait: Natural leaders who spark momentum.
• Common Struggle: Misunderstanding or resistance from others.
• “I feel a strong urge to start something new, but people often ask me to explain myself. Is that your experience?”
5. Reflectors: The Mirrors (1% of the population)
• Key Trait: Reflects the energy of their surroundings.
• Common Struggle: Inconsistency and sensitivity to environments.
• “My energy shifts constantly, depending on my environment. Does this resonate?”
By understanding your energy type, you can work with your natural rhythm instead of against it, contributing to the larger whole in a way that feels aligned and effortless.
My Role as a 3/5 Splenic Manifestor
As a 3/5 Splenic Manifestor, I’ve always been drawn to initiate change, plant seeds, and spark inspiration. Manifestors are natural starters, not finishers. Whether through conversations or coaching, I’ve always felt compelled to nudge others toward clarity, action, or transformation.
However, Manifestor energy is intense and requires balance. For years, I resisted rest, believing it to be unproductive or even weak. I pushed through chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and burnout in my early 30s, convinced I needed to stay in constant motion to support others. It wasn’t sustainable.
When I discovered Human Design, everything changed. I learned that honoring rest cycles isn’t just helpful, it’s essential. Manifestors thrive when we allow ourselves intentional downtime to recharge between bursts of creativity. Resting is not a weakness; it’s a powerful way to realign and prepare for the next wave of inspiration.
The Power of Rest and Stillness

Today, rest has become my sanctuary. It’s no longer about doing less but about doing what matters most. I’ve found joy in simple, intentional practices like meditating, listening to solfeggio frequencies, losing myself in audiobooks, or quietly watching sunlight filter through the trees. These moments aren’t just restorative; they’re essential for clarity and alignment.
How do you recharge your energy? Think of one small way to incorporate intentional rest into your day, it could be as simple as a 5-minute pause to breathe.
Through this shift, I’ve learned to fully harness the energy bursts that come naturally to Manifestors. Rest isn’t a passive state it’s a deliberate act of replenishment that allows me to show up more fully for myself and others.
